Max Payne coming to Android in April

Rockstar Games have announced that they’re bringing the bullet-time classic “Max Payne” to Android later this month, complete with HD graphics, high-resolution textures, social club connectivity, and user-customizable controls.

Though iOS look to get their hands on Max first on April 12th, there’s only a short two week wait for Android users with the title arriving April 26th.  At this time no further details on which devices will be supported, but we’ll aim to update this post as we find out.

On the back of Grandtheft Autos success across the mobile platform, hitting all the right notes for nostalgia and with perfectly capable controls, let’s hope we continue to see quality titles such as these gracing our handhelds.

I can’t wait. Dual Baretta’s, slow motion diving throw doors. Awesome title. I thought Rockstar made a nice job of the controls with GTA, so I’m confident.

Really hoping the touch-based controls will convert well into using ‘Bullit Time’ :)
